UPDATES - NS!
ok i realised i haven't blogging for like....4 whole months now. heheh sorry. didnt have the time and i was pretty lazy when i did. plus i'm currently using dial-up so it takes FOREVER to upload pics. anyhoo, everything's been crazy these past 4 mths. so much to blog bout but its like pretty late to post them... hahah so i'll prolly just post a few.
first off, as most of u know, i went to NS. u know how everyone goes like..."ohhh i dun wanna go" but in the end they end up having the time of their lives n they go out n tell evryone that it was a blast... yea well, that's exactly how it was! it was MAJOR FUN!!! i'd rather stay in NS than go to uni. ahhahaha. cos everything's like spoonfed. haha i know i shud grow up. but yea, that's how i like things. i cried when i found out i was chosen for NS, i cried when i got to the camp, and i cried when i had to leave =(
anyways, the people u meet there, the bonds that u make, and the experiences u get in those few months are irreplaceable. i had the awesomest time there with some of the most fantabulous ppl i'll ever meet! in just those few mths, i managed to meet one of my best frens whom i treat like a sister (we met thru our dads n i'm glad we did =) ) , a lil bro ;) , frens hu patiently thought me how to speak in chinese (hahah), frens hu looked up to me like an older sister (yea..cos i deferred a yr...tho i'm much smaller in size) and a really down-to-earth real life princess (well, sorta) and plenty more amazing ppl!
what we did? morning exercise...sth i dont usually do.. hahaha. i reckon i needed it real bad tho some mornings u just feel like shooting the KJ for shouting at u at 6am to do this n that. argh. every single morning he'll start off with "BAIK, selamat pagi wira dan wirawati! Pagi ini..." so predictable. almost every sentence starts with "BAIK.." and his "sukan" is pronounced "SOkan" hahhaha even the teachers make fun of him. lol.
marching in the super hot sun!!! i put 3 layers of sunblock but i still turned black... i was like 'blackie' when i got home =( n summore it was cny time. lol there were even times when i cried during marching...seriously it was soooooo hot and tiring and i wanted to faint but im not very good at faking it and like i have this horribe image that i might just fall n noone wud b ready to catch me n i'll knock my head on the side of the road n all that. yeaaaaa...i figured it was just easier to cry. hahha felt a lot better after that. learnt a lot bout crying from my lil sis hu cried when she was hungry, tired, hot, exhausted, sick, when i wasn't there and every possible reason u cud think of. LOL.
oooohh highlight of the whole camp..besides meeting all the fantabulous ppl... ahahha..was probably carrying the M16... not just carry.. but firing it too =P jealous, ppl? ahahah. it was major fun. scary...but fun. i was like jumping up and down waiting for my turn. but like when it was really my turn....it was soooo heavy! n i was drenched in sweat just carrying the darn thing in the really thick army uniform which made us look like blue zebras. n let's just say...if ever there's a war in malaysia (God forbid) and i were to shoot down enemies... i think it's better off for me to be shipped off to another country. lol. i was BAD at it. i wasn't the worse of the lot. but yea.. i wasnt that good either. hahah. i'm gonna just blame it on the bad holding-the-gun technique. long story. lol
oooh we did flying fox as well. i swear when i screamed the whole jungle cud hear me! lol. got 2 scratches on my face from that activity. yea..they weren't very pretty. haha. it was good fun though. what else?... hmmm... cooking in the jungle (well, sorta). the food was so darn good. i didnt cook it. hahah. was just fooling around with the rest while a few others cooked n we waited. i'm not very good at cooking if u didn't already know. lol. the worse activity of all was probably the 45 mins jungle trekking one. what a complete waste of my life!!! it was soooo bad n it was such a drag. 3 minutes into the walk i was like "get me outta here!" lol. ohhh n most of my frens had this like chinese superstition thing where u cant call someone by their name in the jungle...bad luck or sth... so we were like given nicknames. n halfway thru the walk...cos i was dying rite.. my malay frens were like "amy r u ok?" "amy do u need help?" "amy just a little bit more" in malay laaa but u get the point. n i was like "oh wells, there goes my luck..." hahahha. din belif in it anyway. but the rest were really superstitious.
owhhh n classes were great fun. well, in the beginning at least. it was like all fun n games like in kindergarten...with a purpose n lesson to learn of course. n i love the occasional dressing up in traditional costumes for fun stuff. heaps of fun! and its like everyone's like so united. cos like the malays were so willing to lend the chinese baju kurung n stuff n we're all just trying it on in the dorms n asking for opinions n all n like we were all like braiding our hairs n things like that. it was awesome. oooh n i've never been that 'open' in front of so many girls in my life! hahah. but its cos like its so hard to wanna hafta go to the bathroom to change n all n its not always vacant plus it stinks cos uncivilised ppl just dont see the need to flush...so like yea.. evryone's just changing in the dorm...of course with undies on cos we all still have our dignities. lol. but its just so normal u know? hahah. like my own room.
lol i shud prolly stop else i'll never end. there's so much to go on about. but i'll just let the pics do the talking from here on out. there's actually loads more but i was too lazy to wait for ages for them to upload. so guess u'll hafta make do with these. they say a picture speaks a 1000 words. so what's a 1000 pictures? plus... i've probly spoken like 3000 words already anyway. ahahha. that's a lot of pictures....u sure u din put like two same pictures in there...cos that's A LOT of pictures...=P
NS sounds like fun...i suppose...
it is fun! lol. i think got a couple repeated. dunno how come. haha
lucky u didnt bump into 'nasty' things in camp coz that campsite is one 'dirty' place ( referring to the cemeteries ).
hahah. i didnt. but a couple of other ppl claimed they did. oh wells, i dont believe in those stuff. i believe in God and he wil and has watched over me =)
amyyy ah kai here...awhhh i miss camp more now.....yeah was damn funnnnnn,all the frens the activities we did...haih...well...what can we do...owh btw...mind to send me the picture you took,got both of us one.
