Forgiveness

Here's some fatherly spiritual advice my dad gave me during a time that i really needed comforting which i think everyone deserves to read... let's just say i wanna share my dad with u (but just for this! cos he's mine =) )

Jesus teaches us to pray “ Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors” It is His desire for us to forgive others in the same way that He has forgiven us.

Pray that you forgive whoever hurt you and ask Him for the strength to do it even if you may suffer wrongfully. Ask Him to teach you in His way in all things especially forgiveness.
Jesus promises that he would not leave us comfortless for he has send the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of comfort to fill our life so that we shall be comforted. Just call on Him.

yea, sometimes it's hard to forgive let alone forget, but i really think everyone should try. I know i tried.. and u know what.. i felt less-burdened. of course, it's going to be hard to forget..nobody said it wasn't. but just think about it..if i still held grudges, i would still be bothered about it and it sure is gonna put a toll on me...so y not be one burden less, rite?
